Novak Djokovic has defeated Tommy Haas of Germany in the quarter final of the Rogers Cup. Djokovic won the match by 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. The scorecard itself says that Djokovic had to work hard to knock the experienced German player out of the tournament. Haas rattled Djokovic with some fantastic groundstrokes in the second set. However, the Serbian superstar didn’t let Haas to pull off an upset and secured a place in the final 4.
Djokovic started the match in fine style and broke the service of Haas in the fourth game of the first set to take a lead of 3-1. Djokovic held his service in the next game and made the score 4-1.
